Prajnya Initiatives for Peace, Justice and Security offers five motivated Chennai students training, mentoring, apprenticeship, experience, and a chance to contribute to our work through the Prajnya-PSW Summer Internship Programme.
We will assign well-defined research projects for each intern, provide training in the research process and work within a structured research programme.
If you have an analytical temperament, discipline, initiative, strong language skills and a good academic record, this is the opportunity for you.
Who is eligible? We are looking for interns who:
¤ have completed at least the second undergraduate year, and we welcome both undergraduate and post-graduate applicants;
¤ are from any discipline within the humanities and social sciences;
¤ who hold a good academic record, and
¤ who can provide a letter of support from their professor, if asked.
Our preference is for interns who have strong language skills in either Tamil or English but can also work in the other language.
