The Politics, Security and Women in South Asia Initiative of The PrajnyaTrust was launched to promote the systematic study of women in politics and policy-making and of security from a gender perspective. The PSW Initiative’s activities involve (1) documentation, research and dissemination; (2) capacity building and (3) network building.
The PSW Weblog is our way of communicating with a larger community of people interested in our work. It is designed as a group blog for the PSW Team with a door open to guest contributors as well. Apart from short opinion and research pieces, we hope to blog links to news and field reports we consider important and to review work–in any medium–that we find interesting. This blog will also hold reports on our own events and programmes, serving the same purpose as a newsletter but in a more current format.
